MEET TAMMY

My Story

I have always been interested in human behaviour. After working in the IT industry for some 20+ years spanning Programming, Project Management and Sales, I decided to delve more into behavioural styles and worked with the DiSC behavioural instrument in Coaching, Mentoring and Organisational Change, as this is where my greatest results came from.

I then realised that I wanted to do more in-depth work and support clients in a more humanistic and relational manner.  Through a friend I found out about Gestalt.  When I decided to study Gestalt, I thought I was going to attend lectures and complete assignments, instead it turned out to be what I call ‘gardening for the soul’.

We had to do several hours of therapy ourselves during the four years of study, and it was a journey of self discovery for me.  I can honestly say I am not the person I was before studying Gestalt. .

I finished my Gestalt Training in 2010 and continued to be involved in Counselling and Group work.  I also applied Gestalt in my corporate role as Sales coach and mentor.

I have had the opportunity of working with wonderful people who have helped me to look at situations in a completely different light and navigate the various challenges I have faced. I learned so much about myself and the family and people around me, not only through therapy but also through seeing Clients and supporting them in their healing and growth.

There are many people today suffering from fear and anxiety, about what has happened in the world and some of the long-term effects. What are we left with?

I am here to make a difference, be of service to the community and support you as you bravely and courageously explore your own humanity, listen to the child within and Let Your Soul Flourish.

Our shadow is in effect when you notice a trait in someone else that really bothers you. What you may not realise is that you easily notice that trait in another because you have the same characteristic yourself and dislike it in yourself.
